Viba Panchmatia completed his early education at a public school in England and thereafter did his Bachelor of Arts at the University of British Columbia and attended the first class at the University of Victoria to complete his Bachelor of Law Degree and Juris Doctor. He was born near lake Victoria, Uganda and spent his younger days in Kenya, both provinces being in East Africa.
Earlier in his legal career, his practice was varied including corporate, commercial and civil litigation but over the last 20 years he has focused solely on several aspects of Family Law. He has extensive experience both in Supreme court and Provincial Court and has dealt with complex property issues. He is still able to draw upon his past experience in the several areas of law he was earlier involved in.
If a file merits to be resolved by mediation then Viba Panchmatia will encourage that rather than have the client go through a rigorous court process.
Viba has an interest in old American classical cars and attends some of the local car shows from time to time entering his own vehicles.
